**The game started at 10pm(!) and two of the strikeouts came with a tired umpire on CALLED strikes that bounced in front of the plate. Inexcusable--just as sad is that this happened to several players on both teams. Umping summer ball should be done right--not just a question of collecting a paycheck.

Not bad, considering he was one of only two players on the team playing in only one league and not paying to be on mutiple travel teams. The insane lengths parents go to regarding being competitive at age 10 with sports is unbelievable. Erick had fun--and THAT is all that matters.
